Called c/s all they could say rates went up. What does that have to do with usage going up, duh! Had meter replaced 12/2/2018, still waiting for report. Told would give me 30 days bill came due 12/31/2018, duh! Just called executive office c/s said meter was fine. Odd electric lower again for Nov 8-Dec 10. Wow! Nothing wrong with meter, duh!

Sounds like they got tired of paying to send someone out to get an adult to pay up..Sounds like you got used to not making them a priority.

PSEG - Day 3 with no electric

My electric was suddenly shut off by pseg. Because they couldn't read my gas meter. I do not own the property so access to the basement is limited. 3 times I set appointments to have a remote meter installed which meant me taking off work. Of course no one has shown up yet and it's cost me $1500 in lost wages. Tried talking to a representative and was treated like I was the one at fault. Called back and was treated even worse. 18 years of never missing a payment and the *** on the phone had the audacity to tell me my power was shut off for non payment. Even though I had my account showing a zero balance. These people are nothing but crooks

I live in Riverhead,NY. I work F/T at The Home Depot. Several years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis known as RA, I have Lupus and sorgrens I am Hypothroiditis with Hashimoto diseases. This is a disability, I choose and force myself to work I have a very bad low back. People sell all these things I can prove them. Well pseg of long island shut be off 6 days before turkey day. Lost all the food.I have an 1800.00 national grid gas credit. They are all one company! Thus I'm owed a credit. I can prove this and my lights are off. Can't eat or cook not helping I called and they said pay in full and hung up. Her name was Monica she wouldn't take my payment. I paid 600.00 about half the bill. Still off. No one offered a plan or solution there. Been off now ten days. I want someone to work with me call and come up with solutions not tell me pay in full or forget it. Tells me you wont take anything less than a full payment. Well I paid 600.00 debited and have ref# my number is 631-408-6708 I have 1800.00 national grid credit. This is a complete cruel nightmare.
